Willi Wednesday:
For those of you who don’t quite get here fast enough to get a wee Willi of your own… no worries, it’s also WILLI WEDNESDAY when our 21.5 oz bigWillis are ONLY $3.25!

And sure… when folks decide that they’re done with their wee Willi… we’ll wash ‘em and pass ‘em on to the next lucky patron.

What’s a Willi? Willibechers (Willi): A glass designed for session beers. The style chosen to feature our beers’ color and aroma.

Thurs., 5/20 — AA Cask at Thirsty Monk South

Craggie’s Antebellum Ale cask will be at Thirsty Monk, South beginning at 4pm. Bill Drew (Craggie Brewing Company’s owner/Brewmaster) will be there from 6-9pm to shake hands, sign autographs and kiss babies.

What’s the deal with beer in a cask anyway?
While it’s still fermenting the beer is transferred to an eleven gallon barrel (instead of it finishing out in a large fermenter). The publican (public house manager) is then responsible for the conditioning and serving of the casked beer. THIS is the traditional method of serving real ale.
